Does anyone know of the Brookfield Zoo Family Membership discount offer where you get 18 months for the price of 1 year? A friend told me about it & said she got something in the mail & that she remebered the offer expired today, March 31st.

I don't know about it, but if you find out--let me know! I have been a member for years and am just about to renew my yearly membership-I'd love to get 18 months for the price of a year =) I'll google and let you know if I find anything.
It was a special offer to past members that let their memberships expire (to drive up the membership). I got one last year but it expired before I was actually able to renew my membership. But not upset about it because just going 2 times as a member saves me money over the regular ticket prices.
