I go to my OB next week for my yearly exam and I am looking for a new type of birth control. Prior to having my daughter I had been on the patch and it was okay, but I am looking into other types. I had a terrible experience with the birth control shot; I had moderate to heavy breakthrough bleeding for six months straight. I was on Errin (the mini-pill) while I was breastfeeding my daughter but I would prefer not to be on a pill because it is very difficult for me to remember to take it.
Anything that worked for you with limited or no side effects? I really do not want to gain weight. Thank you so much :)
