Best Potty Seat

Hi everyone!
I am looking for some advice on what potty seat works best to start potty training my daughter. She is 18 months and seems to be ready to start this process.
Thanks!

Anyone will do. I got a potty chair and also one that goes on the actual potty. She uses both and has no problems. They are all pretty much the same. I got her the elmo talking toilet for Grandmas house and a cheap saftey first brand for my house both work exactly the same, then of course we had to get a Dora seat that goes on the toilet as well. They all work the same, just buy one you can afford.

We used one that goes directly on the toilet. It was cushioned and had handles on the side. Then we had a stool so she could climb up to the toilet. It made her feel like a big girl. Plus, using the little seats you had to empty and clean just grossed me out hygeine wise. Get flushable wipies. Any big #2 incidents just throw out the undies-it's not worth it. Good luck.

We really loved our three in one type unit. I think it was made by The First Years or Safety First. It was a step-stool, potty chair, and cushioned lift out seat that fit onto adult toilet all in one. It worked really well on the floor for beginning stages, then we put the seat on the toilet and used the stool; also the entire unit was taken w/ us as a portable potty to places like the beach, camping, etc...just put a trash liner in it for a quick clean up. Happy potty training!!

Someone gave us a fancy little potty seat, it is VERY uncomfortable. I can see a red ring on her bottom after a minute if not more.
The Baby Bjorn toilet seat topper has been a wonderful dream! It is very smoothly contoured, she always asks for it.
I think Babies R Us has it, I know Right Start has it and I think I ordered mine on Amazon.
