leaking Avent bottles

YES, I hate it when that happens!! Especially when it was breast milk. I haven't heard about the over tightening idea, I will defiantly have to try that. I just turn it upside down to see if it puddles in the rim, or shake it really hard (over the sink of course). If it is leaking I just unscrew it, spin the rim so that it screws on in a different spot and re-tighten it again. I have also found that it sometimes it a bottle or just the rim. I have even taken an hour or so to go through all of my bottles and rims to find the "culprit" and thrown it away. I am glad to hear that I am not the only person who has this issue. AVENT SHOULD REALLY DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!

yes we had problems with them when we used them for both kids age 4 and 2. You have to make sure that it is lined up right. then make sure that you do not over tighten them. We would always shack them over the sink to make sure that they would not leak. It got to the point that my husband could tell if they were not on right when he was across the room from me. We did not have the problem when we used the toddler tops on the bottle or the toddler tops and cup. just the bottle.
