SAY WHAT?

Just for fun, the Mamapedia community shared some of the cutest things their children have said. Here are a few favorites:

3Kidsin3Years from Ontario
When my son was two, while avoiding bedtime, he came out of his room and said “Mom, I need some asparagus.”

Holly K. from Buena Park
One time my son (about 2 at the time) was singing ‘Old MacDonald had a Farm’ in the car with me. I said “Old MacDonald had a ????” and waited for him to pick an animal — but this time he said, “A TACO.”

Paula K. from Van Nuys
A dog jumped out of the bushes and startled my 6 year-old daughter. She grabbed her heart and exclaimed, “My heart almost fell out of its socket.”
I thought I was gonna die of laughter!!

Kim O. from Suwanee
We were playing Hi Ho Cherry-o, and for the third time in the game the 4 year-old had to put all of his cherries back on the tree. His response was “Oh the humanity!” (Where does he get this?)

Amyj156 from Pittsburgh
My 2yo son came up behind me and hugged me around the legs and said, "You make me so happy!” Five minutes later, I overheard him saying the same thing to a game on my iPhone. *sigh

Robin M. from Oakland
When my oldest son was a little boy, his uncle once asked him how he was and my son replied, “Oh, I’m walking a fine line!”

Angie D. from Los Angeles
I had just explained to my 6 year-old how important it was not to give up while working on a new gymnastics move. I was reminding her of the saying, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.” So I started the sentence, “If at first you don’t succeed…” and then I paused for her reply. “Never do it again.” Ugg…

Carla M. from Mountain City
I use their full names when they are in trouble. I said my son’s full name and I heard my daughter tell him, “You’d better run Jack. Mommy means business now!”
