I am in a networking group with a fantastic guy named Ed Allen who is a CPA. Let me tell you, it is well worth the small amount of money we paid him for the amount of taxes he got back for us. He will do a FULL evaluation for you and go back two years. Please just meet with them before you do them yourself! Check out Best Buy. It is worth it in the long run to have a product with the reputable license and key codes. You can upgrade online at the TurboTax site.
We use Turbo Tax and have for years...however....my hubby is a numbers man (accounting undergrad and then MBA).
We do have an accountant who does our business taxes and even with TurboTax, he still gives our personal taxes a once over to make sure we didn't miss anything.
I think for someone not experienced with doing this and dealing with IRS..it is worth the money to consult a reputable tax accountant.
Just be careful..
