Hello! I am a former sign language interpreter from Ca. and have been out of the loop of interpreting for the last 8 years. I am interested in returning to the field and was wondering if anyone would like to meet up and practice signing/interpreting together? Or, maybe you know of some resources for me?
Thank you!
We've enjoyed a free class offered through Bookman's used bookstore. It's called Sign & Play and they have it at both the Phx. and Mesa locations. Mesa is on Wed. at 10pm. I'm sure the instructor would be a good resource for you: Jessika. Here are her websites below:

Anna,
I am currently an ASL student at MCC. I know that the classes have study groups and the language lab offers tutering. You might want to volunteer at the language lab or see if you can hook up with a study group. Mine might be a little below your level as I am in 101 but the 104 and interpreting classes might be a fun way to get back into the swing of things again.
