My son has had some evaluations done at my request and its been found that he has quite a bit of sensory issues and it was recommended that he get therapy once a week. We are also awaiting the results of a neurological evaluation. My question is what now?? My understanding is unless the neurologist gives him a specific diagnosis other then sensory then school doesnt have to do any therapy with him? I'm relieved to get some answers finally but also afraid of how we are going to pay for this....thats an extra 100 a month on top of his meds.....any one know of any programs or anything to help out? What does the school have to do if anything? thanks for any advice!
