I need to find an accountant in the South Bay who help with my small business: do payroll, quarterly accounting and federal deposits. Looking for reasonable rate, hoping someone can refer me rather than just pulling a name out of the Yellow Pages. Thanks!

They are very good and very honest accountants. They go to our church.
We have a small business and at first we had employees. They did our payroll and all that. But I know if they do payroll type stuff, they like for your business to be fairly small. So double check with them on your needs and see if they can do it.

If not, I know of a huge accounting firm that our friend works at in Irvine, and he also, is a Christian, and very good at what he does, and honest, but it's much more expensive to go through his large firm.

My husband Dan Haas is a great accountant.He does all the above and is reasonable.I work as my husbands receptionist/assistant. I would recommend Hunnicutt & Okamoto. They're main office is in Calabasas, but they have an office on Crenshaw in the clock tower building right off the 405. Very friendly, forthright and easy to deal with. I only have the contact info for the Calabasas office though: 5016 Parkway Calabasas, Calabasas, CA 91302-1419, (818) 716-7533.
