Hello! I would like to start saving some money for my kids and I am not sure how to go about it. It's not necessarily for college - although it'd be nice - but I just want to give them a nice chunk of money when they leave home and have to put down a deposit for an apartment or home. Is there any good websites to go on or do I have to actually go see someone for this? Thank you!!!
I'd start with a trip to your local bank and ask them if they have any programs or accounts for something like this and if not atleast start up a savings account.
I know our local bank we use Guaranty has something specifically for children.
