This is my first time on this group and the first thing I have to say is wow! I can't believe there is something like this in Spring Hill. What a great resource to have locally, especially for people who have not grown up in this area and are not familiar with many of the people and places here.
My first question or request is to see if there are other moms out there that have a child with Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus. Thus far I have only been able to meet very few kids that have this in Spring Hill (which truly is a blessing, not a complaint). However, if there is anyone, especially my daughter's age, 6.5, then perhaps we could share ideas and possibly get the kids together. Savannah is incredibly bright, funny, and creative. She is an only child and often doesn't have anyone to play with since she doesn't go to the neighborhood school. If you have a child with Diabetes or expereince with a child with diabetes I would love to hear from you.
