I am new in Fresno and am looking for a pediatrican who has experience working with Down Syndrome babies. My son just had open heart surgery and is only 4 mths old. I need a doctor who keeps up with all the things I need to be aware of and will tell me what I need to know without me having question them. HELP PLEASE!

I don't know of a doctor, but there is a great place in Fresno, called Break the Barriers, that works with kids that are disabled and well as kids with no disabilities, they have gymnastics, dance, swimming, karate and they have lots of kids with downs syndrome who attend the classes and the business was created by a woman whose sister has downs syndrome. I am sure if you contact them they can give you lots of recources and also hook you up with other parents who have kids with downs. BREAK THE BARRIERS is located at 8555 N.
