We are from out of state. I am looking for a private school that can suucessfully educate my 8 year old Autistic son and help him continue to meet his highest potential. From my very brief experience with the public school here, it seems to me that they are not quite up to the task. I have been trying to work things out with Muscogee County since May - when I found out for sure that we were coming to the area.
While trying to register my son for school, I have run into some very interesting people to put it nicely in the school system and I sincerely fear the frustration they will cause my son while they figure out where to place him and how to serve him.
