We expect to be planning a funeral luncheon sometime in the next few weeks/months. Guessing that there would be 40 +/- guests immediately following the interment service at Assumption Cemetery in Winfield. We will be checking out The Red Oak Room at Cantigny Golf Club and Arrowhead Restaurant and Bar at Arrowhead Golf Club both in Wheaton as two options. Can you offer any other ideas?

I've got a couple of ideas -- I hope this helps. We will continue to pray for you and your family.
1) Caponata's on Hale in Wheaton. It's a Southern Italian restaurant on the second floor above the old location of the Paper House. (Across from Muldoon's) We have really enjoyed the food, but dinners can be slightly pricey (with wine and dessert, etc.) However, they offer a very affordable lunch buffet with a good selection of food, so I'll bet this could be a really good option for you. People would have to park in the Wheaton parking garage, which shouldn't be a problem. There is an elevator for those who don't want to walk up the stairs.
2) Adelles on College Ave in Wheaton. We think their food is lovely, but we have also thought that dinners were much too pricey. I don't think they are open for lunch, but they may book private functions. Then you would have the whole place to yourselves.
3) Tivoli Restorante, on Rt 59 in West Chicago (about 1 mile South of North Ave, so it's between Geneva Rd and North Ave.)

First sorry to hear that this is happening. I will pray for you and your family.
Second, you should check with the Funeral Home. They usually have resturants that they deal with for these things. They get deals and set it all up for you. This way you don thave to do any of the work.
My family owns a funeral home and that is what they do. They take care of it. They even call in a count from teh cemetary, so they know about how many people.
