You can have your daughter draw individual pictures of each of her teachers and then you can help write a few things that she thinks about them. I know personally that this is such a sweet gift to get. It lets you know that they took time on it. To me, I think it's better than going out and spending money. You can get a piece of construction paper and write:
Mrs. ? is...
1.
2.
3.
Then you can have her picture on the bottom. She can roll it up and tie it will string and put it in a pretty little bag along with a pretty flower. Hope this helps! Have fun!
Let your teacher know that you appreciate her/him
being a part of your little one's life by
personalizing your gift. All you need is(your choice)
- tote denim bag (or) an apron
- Acrylic pain (teacher's favorite color)
- Your little one's hands
- a day for paint to dry
- an acrylic pen to write a quote/a Bible verse or just
a note of thanks!
I did this project for a teacher that came to work for our district from Spain, below each hand I placed the kid's name..you should have seen her face! She went back to spain with her apron and a touched heart, it was very rewarding for me as a parent to have send her back home with a memory of her kindness for her students, try it!
I always think a gift card to a movie is a good idea. Sometimes I will get a movie sized box or two of candy and tie a pretty bow with the gift card on top. It is like a fun date with her family or spouse. Lots of good movies coming out-and ticket prices keep getting higher so even if its $10 it all helps.
A Gift card in a coffee cup that says "Thanks a Latte"
A treat bag full of Milky Ways that say "You are out of this World"
A lunch sack decorated by your child with a bottle of water, box of Wyler's lemonade and a $5 gift card to subway, and a small piece of chocolate. They have foot long subs for $5.00- I did this on a Friday and called it Free lunch Friday!
cute tin of mints that say "You are meant to teach"
If you want the website I got these ideas from just let me know.. they worked great for teacher appreciation.
I also did "You are such a Treat" and I made rice Krispie Treats" and put them in a treat bag.
I am a preschool teacher and one of my favorite gifts has been a cute pair of flip flops with a pedicure gift certicate attached to them. Any type of gift card is great. Beach towels are nice. Another cute idea was a cute sun tea jar with cups and a can of lemonade or flavored tea.Hope this helps.
Swedish massage!!!!!!! Much needed after watching other people's kids, get out all of those nots!! Trust me I am a kinder teacher and I will always love and remember my room parents this year for getting me one, SUPER RELAXING and that is what we need :) Hope this helps, if seems a little steep in price see if another parent/ couple of parents will go in on it with you.....
I teach at a preschool at our church and we just finished for this school year. I recieved a neklace that I love, a starbucks travel mug and five dollar gift card, another one was simply a read raose in a really neat vase. But most of all I recieved hugs from parents and students as they left after the program. I love teaching little kids, the gifts are okay but let your child run up and give the teacher a hug when you see them in wal mart or the grocery store. It means alot.

Hi there. Looks like you have gotten some really great ideas. I few that I have done are gift cards to the movies, mani and pedi's from Ulta and a box of the Neiman Marcus famous chocolate chip cookies! I'm sure whatever you choose will be appreciated.
I am a preschool teacher for a 2 day a week program. We just ended our school year and all the moms (of 8 students) got together and gave me and my assistant a $50.00 Visa card and a $25.00 gift card to a restaurant. IT WAS GREAT. Instead of 8 little gifts, we can get whatever we want.
HOPE IT HELPS.

I know it is kind of late, but what my grandson and I did for his teacher, school counselor, school secretary and aide in his class was to get a terra cotta pot, paint it with chalk board paint and let him draw on it. I wrote each of their names and his name and year on the rim. We then planted lettuce in the middle and herbs around the outside. I wrote a poem to go with it. "Here is a plant for you to grow this Summer as you have helped me to grow this year. There is lettuce and herbs to nourish you as you have nourished my mind. Thank you" Then he put a little note of his own under it (he is 6 and in kindergarten.) We will be giving them out next week .
