I would like to find something a few days a week for my 4 year old to interact with others his age and learn some class room structure. Any ideas about preschools, bible schools or seasonal programs in the Lake County area?
My boys go to Painesville Christian Pre School and Daycare--we really like it there! They aren't old enough for the pre school program yet, but they do attend day care 1 and 1/2 days a week. I know several parents whose children just completed pre school there and they were VERY satisifed. Mrs. Kay, the director and one of the pre-school teachers, is awesome. She is caring and respectful; you can tell she loves what she does!
The school is located on Chestnut street just down from the intersection of Route 44 and 84. I think it is considered Concord because it is further south on Chestnut.
Also, the facility used to house an Academy (up to 8th grade I believe) so there are lots of different "rooms". There is an actual cafeteria where they have lunch and a gym for cold or rainy weather play. I know they offer spanish on Tuesdays in a special classroom and I believe they do chapel on Wednesdays--my guys aren't there on Wednesdays. Anyhow, I like that they are not couped up in the same classroom all day long--they get a change of scenery. I toured several daycare/pre-school facilities in the Painesville/Concord area and this was in my top two. We also like Goddard, but just couldn't justify the cost--Painesville Preschool and Daycare is competitively priced.
