Looking for a GREAT Doula!!!

Hi! I'm in search of an amazing Doula. I have done tons of research about them and I know that many offer fantastic services. I would like a Doula that know accupressure, massage therapy, will keep a journal/diary of our birth experience as it is going along for memory sake, and offers all of the other wonderful things doula's do! Please let me know if anyone knows anyone like this! Thank you! :)

I just had two of the BEST doulas in the world for my birth in September - Rose Day and Nikki Ausdemore. They were awesome - I totally recommend them both. You can see them and others here:

Also, if you attend a meeting of the east valley birth circle (meets 4th Thursdays in Mesa), you can meet a TON of doulas (including most of the above) in person (and the meetings are a ton of fun too - they're discussions of birth-related topics).

Feel free to email me!

I was going to recommend the same website that Diana J recommended.

I had Nikki Ausdemore (same and Diana) do my birthing class, but not be present for my birth. My mom does alternative therapy so she did my acupressure, massage, and aromatherapy. But Nikki did an awesome job and really relaxed me about the upcoming birth process. If my mom was not so close, I definitely would have hired her for my birth.

Congrats and good luck :-)

Depends on what side of the valley you live on. Check out doulas listed with Southwest Doulas, Supported Birth of AZ, and if you are interested in working with doulas-in-training, I am a doula trainer and try to help match clients with doulas-in-training.

I was a doula for 9 years and am now a licensed midwife, and teach doula trainings about 3-4 times a years. I'm very particular about what my workshops teach.
