we are looking for a good housecleaning service to come in 2-3 times a month and give our place the once-over. we've never had this before so i'm a little nervous about having strangers in my home, etc., so i'd also love to get any advice you might have to offer as well -- how much should i "hide all the valuables" before they come, how much should i screen them, etc.? also, what's a reasonable price to pay?? thanks!!!

I currently own a maid service my website is www.freefromdust.com. As far as the price it just depends on the type of clean you want and the traffic and condition of your home. Make sure whatever company you choose that they are bonded and they should give you a copy AND you can call to verify bond. As far as valuables no matter who come in your home you should have them in a safe place. I clean retired school teachers to Dallas Mavericks player Jerry Stackhouse and he has valuables everywhere and I never had a complaint. I also do the cleaning.
