How many mama's husbands do the cooking?

TJ,

If your husband is feeling as if he's the only person working as hard as he is, feeding and caring for his family, isolated from the rest of the world, and taken for granted, tell him, "Welcome to my world, Honey!" :) Then give him a big sloppy kiss and tell him how much you appreciate having yummy food to eat for dinner every night, and how loved and cared for it makes you feel that he cooks for you and the family.

"To maintain a joyful family requires much from both the parents and the children. Each member of the family has to become, in a special way, the servant of the others."

Pope John Paul II.

I live with Emeril too! My husband does breakfast every morning (from oatmeal to homemade waffles and pancakes) and frequently does dinner - or helps me finish it once he comes home. Please tell him he is not alone and is a true wonder. Bless him for his care and love of his family!

Hahahaha... Thank you, I needed to laugh! I know that there are men out there that do the cooking and are great at it, but the thought of my man cooking dinner brought back some funny memories! In the begining of our relationship I would come home from work on Fridays to a surprise dinner of pre-prepped salmon from costco (this was the one good thing), a container of premade macaroni salad, potatoe salad, and rice!!! Hahahaha... bless his heart for trying! HOLY CARBO INTAKE!!!
Needless to say I LOVE cooking and now do the majority of it! (Although he has recently started BBQing, I still handle all of the side dishes.)
