I would also recommend Dave Ramsey's "Financial Peace University". Learning how to manage and save money is the most important lesson I learned. I know there are some legitimate businesses for extra income, but I would proceed with caution, because many of them require you to spend hundreds to buy product/materials up front. I tried selling Mary Kay and Arbonne and I always felt like I was having to recruit people or ask them to have parties. I know people who are successful at these businesses, and every time I see them, they want me to buy someting or have a party. I don't want others to see me that way. I would opt for keeping a child in your home or working somewhere that would allow you to take your child, like a church MDO, pre-school or health club.

I also work full-time, have two boys, and recently got married for a second time. I completely understand how a divorce can hurt your financially - been there, still recovering!

I became a consultant with Heritage Makers - my website is www.MyPhotobookStory.com in January, and made my money back from the start-up in my first month! The start-up kits are on sale right now, which is a really good deal.

There is no inventory, the tool is all online, which is great and it is easy to use.
