Goodcents Utility home monitoring device

Hello Ladies,
I had two phone calls from Goodcents which I believe is working in connection of ComEd on this subject. They are asking me to schedule and appointment to have a device installed that measure/regulates my electricity consumption.
I am all about saving energy and it would be nice to know when to best use my appliances to save, but I am always hesitant when people tell me they want to install this to only my advantage.
So do any Mom's out there know about this new device, do you have it? What's your experience?
Thanks for your answers and have a great day!

I am not familiar with Goodcents but Comed does have a program for real time costs for electricity. Most customers are set for a fixed price, about $.21 a kwh or whatever it is. The realtime price program can be setup so you receive an email after 5 pm giving the expected costs for the next day. You can then determine the better time to run your washer/dryer or dishwasher to save money-like running a load of laundry at 10 pm versus 6 pm, plus the true rate is charged versus the higher fixed rate charge. I plan to do this as well but not sure if they will setup for a building since we own and occupy a 2 flat.
