I think I might want to change my bank. My husband has had his own business for a year now so we are finally getting a good structure to how we will handle the finances and I want to make sure we are getting the best services/rates/etc with a bank we can work with for a long time to come. We have a business account (checking and savings) and personal account (checking and savings) at our current bank. Does anyone have any recommendations for a bank they think handles both well? I would like something that makes it easy to move money from the business account to personal account (although from what I understand, you can't link the 2 legally so not sure about this), has low fees (we write a lot of checks for the business, pay a lot of bills online, and for the most part don't keep a large balance in those account as we transfer it to other savings tools), where I can easily get to the bank and/or ATM, and provides good interests rates when we do have balances in savings. Any advice you have on business and personal banking that works for you would be appreciated. I am in the Clinton Twp/St. Clair Shores area.
I had Chase and HATED it, I stayed with them for a long time too, I was just afraid to switch.
I now have TCF Bank, and I really love them!!! I have had no issues :-)
I think it depends quite a bit on the specific branch you deal with. What area of town do you live in? I have a good recommendation for a branch manager in Farmington area.
