I have a son with Down syndrome, his name is Eli and he is 4 years old. I was wondering if you have a child with DS and what kind of vitamins you give him/her. His Pediatrician said giving him multivitamins was just fine. My son also has Alopecia and has been seen by several Dermatologists but none of them can really can pin point at the cause of it (He does not have Thyroid problems :)
I really would appreciate any feed backs on special Vitamins or any advice you might have would really be wonderful.
Thanks ladies!
Sometimes Alopecia can be from an autoimmune malfunction among other things. Does your son have any allergies? Check out the Shaklee company because they have some of the best supplements on the market. Dr Christine Northrop, the OB/GYN that has been on PBS recommends these for her patients. I would also look at the Omega 3 capsules and energizing soy from Shaklee if your son is not allergic to soy along with a mutlivitamin-mineral supplement.
