Worried My 22 Month Old May Be Color Blind...

My son will celebrate his 2nd birthday on March 30th, and I am a bit worried that he may be color blind. Over the last couple of months I have been working with him on counting, the alphabet and colors. He is doing GREAT at counting and GREAT at his alphabet, but he isn't doing so well with his colors. I have noticed that whenever he picks up the colors green, yellow or blue he always says green. Whenever he picks up the colors red, orange or purple he calls them purple. Ideas for Eye Patches/glasses for Children!!!

My nephew is 19 months old and we started noticing that his left eye seems to be turning in a bit. My sister took him to a pediatric ophthalmologist and the doctor found that he is far sighted in both eyes, more so in the left than the right. The doctor wants him to wear a patch on the good eye, so the weaker eye can strengthen 4-6 hours a day. (Yeah right!) This seems impossible because he will not keep the patch on at all. Glasses were ordered as well and he needs to wear the patch with the glasses too. Does anyone have any ideas or...

Putting Eye Drops in a 2 Year Olds Eyes

I have a question, my son is about to be 2 years old. I took him to the doctor today and they told me he has pink eye. They gave him a perscription for eye drops. Now, it is one thing to give a 2 year old medicine, but eye drops? I have tried everything I can think of to get the eye drops in his eye but nothing that I have tried works. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get the drops in his eyes? I have tried to put then in the corner of his eye by the bridge of his nose, but he just rubs the drop away.
