Please..................need Help with a 4 Year Old and 8 Month Old

Hello, Please someone help me with some advice on discipline! My 4 year old has gotten to the point to where he doesn't want to listen to anything we tell him to do. He will not pick up his toys after playing, he wants to watch tv all of the time and anymore, he fights me when it's time to eat. Oh, another thing, his underwear stays wet from urine. He uses the toilet, but I am constantly having to make him change his underwear and it is so frustrating because I don't know if it is a behavioral thing or what? He won't go to bed until 12...

I Have a 3 Year old...enough Said :)

OK, mainly I'm just venting, but of course would love any ideas, input, etc. from those who have or have had 3 year old boys. My biggest frustration is...why in the world does he have to be so difficult with me? The simplest of instruction from me becomes a big issue. "Honey, please come here so I can change your diaper"...."no" (and runs away). I am firm with him, I use positive discipline, rewards, consequences, time outs and anything else I have learned, but it just seems like EVERYTHING little thing is a battle. By noon I've had it. I...

How Long Will My Toddler Drool?

My son is 18 months and has been drooling since he was about 3-4 months old!! I am sure this is normal, however, I would love to know when it will stop. It isn't even on and off...he seems to drool all the time. Yes he has been teething since he was 10 months with his top teeth, then 1 year molars, and now eye teeth but I want to make sure there is an end in sight:)

My 3 Year Old Doesn't Sleep

Please help, I'm so frustrated, I just want to cry. My 3 year old doesn't seem to sleep more than 8-9 hours in a 24 hour period. Aren't kids this age supposed to get 11-12 hours of sleep in a day? She's been out of her crib for two months, and she started preschool earlier this week. Our bedtime routine is a nightmare (for me), and it has been for a while, not just recently. I start with the end of her TV show at 8:15, then it's brushing her teeth, which usually takes 15 minutes to half an hour because she doesn't want to cooperate,...

Has Anyone Heard of Gripe Water?

I have recently heard about Gripe Water for helping little tummies. I have been buying Gerber Gas Drops, but it doesn't seem to be helping, and my son (@6 months) has such bad gas pains at night that he wakes up 3-6 times and needs comforting. Nursing helps, but that's me getting up 3-6 times to do so and having little to no sleep. Does anyone know about Gripe Water or talked to their pediatricians about it? Just inquiring. Thanks in advance for your feedback and thoughts.

3 Year Old Has Started Biting Things

My son has never been one to bite and we have never had a problem before. Lately tho he is biting just about everything. He bit me HARD yesterday. I am pretty sure it was an accident as I think he was trying to bite my shirt. Anyway, he sat in time out, said he was sorry, and even put a band-aid on my "boo-boo". But I have noticed that he bites other objects now too- his teddy bear, his shirt, his sheets, his blankets, pillows, etc. Anything soft. Last night he was sucking/biting on this thumb. He has never sucked his thumb before! I am...
