Finger Food for 14 Month Old & Sippy Cups

I have a 14 month old daughter who is a picky eater. I feel like I feed her the same things over and over every day. I can't find any vegetables she likes. She loves cheese but I don't want to overdo it on that. She is independent and really likes foods that she can feed to herself. I would love some ideas of what other moms feed their toddlers at this age. Also, I have switched her to whole milk in a sippy cup and the Avent magic cups leak horribly. I would like to find one with a lid that does not leak. If anyone knows of what...

Cereal in Bottles

I know they say not to put cereal in bottles but I also know I'm going to do it anyway. SO...has anyone put cereal in a Dr. Brown's bottle? Which nipple should I use, level 4? Also, just because I've toyed with the idea of switching to Playtex drop-ins, does anyone know if there's a nipple that works well for them? I always tried to make the hole bigger with my first but that was a beating with the cereal clogging up, which is why I'm using Dr. Brown's with my second... Thanks mamas!! Update: Okay, first of all I'm planning ahead...

Need Tips on Making Formula in Batches and Mixing Formula with Playtex Drop Ins

Need some tips on making formula in batches or mixing formula with the Playtex drop-ins. My 3 month old son just recently switched from a special formula for his milk allergy (Neocate) to Similac Alimentum. We were making fresh bottles each time with the Neocate. However, my son is now eating between 6 and 7 ounces, which 7 ounces is not feasible to measure on the Alimentum - it's in increments of 2 ounces. So I wanted to make a batch an them pour 6-7 ounces in each bottle. I use the Playtex Drop in bottles and have loved them, but...

My 13 Month Old Is Picky, picky...picky!

My 13 month old little guy is ALL boy, except for his eating habits. Ever since he's realized he can eat what mommy is eating (to a point), that is all he wants. But then when I sit him down in his high chair, he sometimes puts the food in his mouth, then spits it out. He will drink his bottles like they are going out of style as many times as he can during the day and will throw tiny fits unless he doesn't have his bottle (whole milk of course), or get whiney until we give them to him. He will eat some foods (cheerios, pastas of every...
