okay so i know its partially my fault. in my attempts to get sleep, i initially slept with my newborn on me..near me...whatever it took to make him happy enough to sleep so that i could get sleep. i have nursed him since day one. he is now 15 months. problem is, he has yet to sleep in his crib. there have been times when he has, but only after he has fallen asleep some other way, and even then, he doesnt stay asleep long. even when he should be tired as all get out, he wakes up almost as soon as he hits the crib. he will sleep if...

Desitin Diaper Cream

I have used Aveeno diaper cream on my daughter since birth with no problems. But when she got a rash it didnt seem to do much to heal so on rashes I used Destin. Well aveeno can be hard to find so I switched to Destin full time and I noticed my daughter crys when I change her diaper and put the cream on. Almost like the cream is burning her. She also messes with her self alot more when I change her like something her. Has this happened to anyone else?

Diaper Rash and Table Food

My 10 month old has been eating table food and breast milk now for over a month and has had a persistent diaper rash ever since changing from baby food. Could there be a correlation between these two things? As long as I keep original Desitin on her she does fine. But if she misses the Desitin only once and she has a messy diaper, the rash comes back with vengeance - raw, red, and bleeding. Has anyone else dealt with this and what did you do? Help! She is screaming so often with messy diapers and during her diaper changes and I'm sick...

Severe Diaper Rash That Won't Go Away.

My daughter, Marley, has had a severe diaper rash that will not go away. I change her frequently, use lots of Desitin, but it does not seem to get better. I recently introduced rice cereal with apples and thought maybe that was to blame, so I have stopped it to see, but in the meantime she is very uncomfortable. Does anyone have any remedies that have worked for them? Suggestions greatly appreciated.
