I feel a little guilty saying this, but I'm sick of the baby monitor! I am a light sleeper, and every little noise or sigh that my daughter makes wakes me up and I have a difficult time falling back to sleep. I feel like I could probably hear her if she really cried and needed me, but what if I didn't? What are your thoughts? (She is 8 months old...I also have a 3 year old, but I figure he can come get me if he needs me)

I have a 3 month old son who usually sleeps in a bassinet beside my bed. He has his own room and crib but has only slept in there once. Last night I got out the monitor which has night vision (we bought the most expensive one) put him in his bed and he went to sleep. Everything was perfect except that the monitor crackled and popped all night. So at 3am I went and got him just so I could turn off the monitor and get some sleep.
