Necessary to Have Both a Jumper and an Exercise Saucer?

I'm a very practical person, so when I became pregnant with my first son, I checked with friends to see what I could get second-hand before registering for new products. I ended up with a used swing, bouncy seat and high chair, for example. Now that my son is 4 months old, I'm looking at some other products that I didn't consider before. I've heard wonderful things about the Fisher-Price Jumperoo. My dilemma is that my cousin has a Baby Einstein stationary exercise saucer that her son never used, so it's in mint condition. I'm having...

Help! Fisher Price Cradle Swing Broken???

One of my girlfriends gave me her used Fisher Price Nature's Touch Cradle Swing. She used it for only one kid for the short amount of time that they can be used. The thing has been a lifesaver - it puts my little miss to sleep and/or keeps her calm and entertained without me having to hold her. We changed the batteries and they are new - the music plays and the mobile goes, but the swing can't seem to get started. I don't want to buy one b/c our baby is almost three months. Has anyone experienced this and found an easy fix???

Last night was pretty rough-- I don't know if I blocked out the first few weeks sleeping with my first, but I felt like I was up every hour just offering my breasts -- which were being used for meal and partly for pacifying I think! Didn't like being in bassinet as he has LOTS of gas and would squiggle and fuss each time we layed him in... Just SO happy that my 2 year old didn't wake up during the night when he would fuss and cry! Did you all have these problems with your second children...

Looking for a "Playhouse Bed"/Bunkbed in the Form of a Playhouse

Years ago, my niece and nephew had a cool bunk bed in the shape of a playhouse. It could also be used as a playhouse below and a bed above. I recall it being mostly white hard plastic (much like the Fisher Price outdoor playhouses). Do you remember this item? What was it called? Who made it? Have you seen one anywhere? If you have links to pages, that would be sooooo helpful. Thanks so vey much!
