How Early Have You Experienced Pregnancy Symptoms

Okay, I'm totally wacked out on this one. I have two older daughters, and shouldn't be able to get pregnant (and there is only a small failure rate). However, for the last week (about 1.5 weeks from my expected period) I started to notice that my breasts hurt - not tender but out right hurt. As the week went on they got worse, I also noticed that I wanted chocolate and potato products- and no matter how much I ate I wanted more, plus I would eat them together (chocolate cake with potato chips). I also started suffering other pregnancy...

Planning a 2Nd Child

Our firstborn just turned 1, and we're starting to talk about #2! Just wanted some feedback from parents with kids 2 years apart and 3 years apart. I know every child and sibling relationship is different, but just wanted some thoughts on benefits/drawbacks of spacing children.

How to Tell News of Pregnancy to Friend W/ Infertility Issues?

I'm looking for a way to let a good friend know that I'm pregnant again. She has been struggling w/ secondary infertility issues and I know it makes her sad to be around pregnant people. This is a "surprise" pregnancy that I am not 100% ecstatic about yet (I will be, I just need a bit more time). I have never had any fertility issues so I'm not sure how a good way to tell her without hurting her. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Relationship and Pregnancies

Hello Mommas and some Daddies, I have an issue I have been struggling with. I am planning on taking the plunge into the dating world after a 7 years(roughly) hiatus. My issue isn't with dating its what could possibly come after. I'm not exactly opposed to being pregnant again but I'm not busting down doors to get there either. My issue is with the idea of getting pregnant. I have a son who I was single when I found out I was pregnant with and well lets just say it wasn't an enjoyable experience for me (on top of being alone and pregnant...

Jewelry Business on Ebay and Website

I just want to take an unofficial survey of how many people would buy jewelry either through a website or on ebay. I have a very narrow market niche. I have a website and a blog about pregnancy over 40 (I was almost 45 when I had my only child...naturally). I post articles etc about pregnancy over 40, society's attitudes about older mothers, etc. Anyway, I am thinking about starting a fertility jewelry line to either sell on my website and possibly ebay. I have ordered the materials (a combination of pre-made necklaces, bracelets and...

Why Can't She Try?

I am married, for the second time, to an amazing husband and father. We have been married for the past 3 years and have a very loving and healthy relationship. He has a beautiful daughter whom I love very much, she is an ever present angel in my life. I love her, the same as and equally as I love my own two children. My children's stepmother is a good woman and wife to my ex husband and I am very grateful that my children have a stepmom that cares and loves them when they are with her and my exhusband. Our issue is my husbands ex wife. She...

Won't Ever Have Another Baby

Some background first: Almost four year ago, my daughter was born with a congenital heart and lung defect. She spent the first 5 months of her life in the Cardiac ICU at Children's Medical Center. I didn't get to hold her for her first three months of life. When she came home she was still a very sick little girl and had nursing care around 12-16 hours a day. She had this nursing care for 2 1/2 years. During this time both she and my then 3-4 year old son were homebound and not allowed to leave the house unless it was for doctors...
