I am considering having an Elmo birthday party when my daughter turns 2. I have done some searching online and I saw some cute ideas, however I have found that you guys are the greatest with ideas. My son will be 3 in October. A week or so ago he started climbing out of his crib repeatedly. We recognized that we were lucky to have the crib for him for so long and changed his crib to a toddler bed. However, now we are having extreme difficulty getting him to go to sleep. What is the best food ideas at a kid's birthday party?

Hi Moms! My sons 1st birthday party is in June, and it will be from 1-3 in order to accomodate his nap schedule. Just wondering what type of food we should serve? We were thinking about doing a BBQ....would that be ok? Or is that too much for an afternoon party? Any ideas of great party foods would also be much appreciated, this is the first time I have ever done this and I want it to be memorable:) P.S. It will be an "Elmo" themed party Thanks! H.
