11 Month Old Prescribed Pulmicort

My 11 month son who wheezes from time to time had a recheck on his ear infection today. Well he was wheezing today and the doctor prescribed Pulmicort to use in his nebulizer twice a day. We already use the albuterol as needed, but not on a regular basis. She said the Pulmicort would prevent asthma symptoms, even though she said he is not officially diagnosed as asthmatic because they do not diagnose asthma in children until they are two years of age. Any Reactions to Xopenex or Pulmicort?

Has anyone's child use a nebulizer with Xopenex or Pulmicort and had any behavioral reactions? My 2 year old has been acting terrible lately and we have been using these medications for a few days. Just wondering if there could be a connection? Thanks!

Pulmicort - Steroids for Asthma/Lung Issues

Do any of you have children who have taken Pulmicort or another steroid for asthma/lung issues. My son was born 3 months premature and therefore had immature lungs. In addition he had a chest tube for a pneumo-thorax and pneumonia all in the first two weeks of life, came home on oxygen, etc. This was all a year ago and he's doing incredible.
