"Diaper Rash Cream Is Supposed to Hurt."

"Diaper rash cream is supposed to hurt." Those are the exact words from my dad.. . . Is this true???? I don't believe it, but my dad is adamant about it. My son is the point of needing to get a prescription for his diaper rash. I currently using Boudreaux's Butt Paste and it's not working. I have tried all the "natural" ways including baking soda bath, let it air out, Vaseline, chamomile tea in bath. I also have tried a little of the Up and Up diaper rash cream which is the one that is hurting my son. The second it touches his skin all...

Is There a Generic Huggies?

We have always used Huggies diapers but I was wondering if there is a generic brand that is the same? My son is allergic to Pampers and the only other diaper we have tried was Huggies. We have been scared to try anything else because of his reaction to them. We are about to have a second baby and I am trying to find ways to save money so I thought I would investigate other brands of diapers. Any recommendations for something similar to Huggies and works for little boys would be greatly appreciated.

They both had diarrhea from friday thru yesterday ( which I was expecting it happened at 6months when they got their shots & the flu shot) the diarrhea caused diaper rash.. specifically a yeast infection in both of them. Their ped. gave us a cream to put on them 4-5 times a day. My son is no longer red or irritated, my daughter on the other hand is bright red. We currently have a box of pampers. I have heard that some babies have had reactions to pampers. We have alaways used...

4 y.o. With Bad Case of Eczema

My four year old daughter has had Eczema on and off since she was born. In the past I have taken her to the pediatrician and gotten a prescription for a skin cream. She has been there so much lately for illness that I hate going back for this. I have tried Gold Bond medicated and Huggies baby lotion. She has Asthma so I know it is linked to that. She has some large horrible patches on the inside of her thigh. Any suggestions?
