Won't Drink Milk from a Sippy Cup!

Hi there, Since she turned 12 mos I have been trying to transition my now 14 mo. old daughter from the bottle to a sippy cup. She loves to drink water out of a sippy cup but refuses to drink milk from it (spits it out!). I give her one bottle in the morning when she wakes up and one at night, but in between only sippy cups and so she is not getting enough milk. I have tried to mix drinkable yogurt with the milk to entice her but that isn't working either. If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it! Holly

How Do You Help a 3 Year Old Child Give up a Binky/pacifier?

Hello! I have a son that is turning 3 years old in less than two weeks and he is VERY attached to his binky. We have tried to limit it's use to naps and nighttime but he constantly asks for it if he is hurt or bored. I told him it needs to go soon. I asked him if he wants a big boy toy in it's place or to send it to a baby that needs it. He absolutely refuses. In fact, some nights he yells out for it. I'm actually dreading the nights he has to adjust without it. I know it can't be worse than bringing home a newborn. But the thought...

Mom Seeking Input Regarding "Next Step" Formulas

Hi to all the moms out there! I have a question regarding those "Next Step" formulas. I have heard two differing opinions from friends already & was curious what other moms out there think about them. Do any of your children use them or have used them? Do you think they are a good transition to cow's milk? Do share! My son will be 9 months in June and I would like some real world feedback from moms who have been there and done that. Thanks!!
