Pedialyte and Hives

My almost 3 yr old had some Pedialyte a few days ago (first and only time she's had it). Then two days later she got hives. Has anyone else experienced this? I went online, and it is listed as a common symptom. She had them yesterday; then after the meds, they went away. Now they are back again, but in different spots. I have lots of experience with excema (she gets it alot), not so much with hives. Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated.

2 Yr Old Won't Drink Pedialyte

Hello, My 2 year old daughter has a slight cold, little fever, so far no vomiting.( Thank god!) But will not drink pedialyte....any flavor! Nor will she drink the Walgreens brand, the CVS brand....none of them. So my question is, is there anything else I can give her that won't cause diharrera or dehydration, like juice can? She will drink some water, but not as much as she will if it was juice. Thanks in advance.

Sippy Cups and Food

I have a 7 1/2 month old and I am reading in all my books that I should be introducing sippy cup and solid food (step up from strained foods). Any suggestions on any of this? What brand of sippy cups? What do I put in the sippy cup? I have only breast fed and formula here and there but I am not sure what liquid to put in sippy cup. I am not sure I want my boy to have juice. Also any suggestions on food, branching out from baby food?
