When Do You Limit Fluids at Night?

I am in the beginning stages of potty training. Gabby is 22 months and i've reduced her milk to roughly 16 ounces a day with the last 8 ounces after dinner. She was drinking too much milk and not eating enough so the doctor told me to subsitute water in place of all the extra milk. i'm just wondering if i should cut all liquids after 7 or 7:30 pm? She generally eats dinner and snacks between 4 and 6:30, followed by her 8 oz milk. I am not doing overnights, or pull ups yet. i just want her to get the hang of the potty first but i also don't...

Son Will Not Drink Milk

My son will be two next month and broke himself from the bottle about 3-4 months ago. He would drink 2-4 8 oz. bottles of milk then. Ever since he broke himself from the bottle he will not drink milk. All he wants is juice (wont drink water either). We have tried the whole offering nothing but that and he just wont drink. We also have tried flavoring it and he doesn't like it. He can not drink soy so that is out of the picture also. Just wanted to know if anyone had any advice to get him to drink milk, or if anyone else has gone through...

Leaky Sippy Cups

I am sooo frustrated w/ leaky sippy cups. Has anyone found a sippy cup that doesn't leak or spray when dropped. My son is 18 months old and I have tried 2 or 3 name brands & store brands and haven't found a real good one yet. When my son drops the cup (which he does frequently) milk or juice either sprays or ends up leaking out because the "leak proof" spout has fallen into the liquid. I see that they sell more of the spouts, but ours look fine so I have't tried buying replacments yet. Any help?????

Drinking More Water

If anyone has any ideas on how to get my 10 month old daughter to drink more water, i'd sure apprecialte. we have tried adding some juice to it just to give it taste, but that doesnt seem to work either. she will only drink water when she is really thirsty and there isnt a bottle around. she drinks her water from a sippy cup.
