Question About Similac Alimentum

I have a two month old who has had some feeding issues. His doctor put him on Alimentum two days ago because of his spitting up. He had been gaining weight well. My doc put him on this to help ease his tummy. Since being put this formula he had wanted to eat more often and more formula at a time. Before being switched he ate every 6 oz every 3-4 hours. Now he wants 7 oz every 2-3 hours. He had been sleeping through the night since he was 6 weeks old so he only goes through 5-6 bottles a day. FYI he is a big boy. At birth he was 10 lbs 1...

Flavoring for Alimentum Formula to Make It Taste Better?

Hi there I have a 5 almost 6 month old baby who drinks Alimentum formula, it seemed when she was younger she would drink it fine but now that she is older it she acts as if she does not like it, and we have a hard time getting her to drink her bottle. We tried the vanilla drops but no luck, she did not like that at all. I need ideas on what I can put in the bottle to make the taste more appealing to her? Does anyone know or has anyone else found anything good tasting to flavor their babies allergenic formulas? Funny thing is my older...

Trying to Transition to Sippy Cup

My son is 15 months and is not a good eater. He is only 18lbs and is not on the chart for weight. He has many severe allergies and cannot eat dairy, soy, wheat, oats and a whole range of other foods. He finds comfort in his bottle. I am trying to transition him to the sippy cup with no luck. He is okay drinking water or juice out of the sippy but not milk (still on alimentum). He will cry until he vomits but he will not drink unless we give him the bottle. The doctor said I can let him cry, but he does not eat enough during the day...

Similac Alimentum Spit up Issue

I have tried 5 formulas now for my 2 1/2 month old son. Started with Enfamil Newborn, which made him gassy and constipated, then went to gentleease, which still made him gassy m constipated, Our Dr then switched us to Prosobee and told us he had milk intolerance and reflux. After about a three days he had a reacton to the soy and was pooping 10 times a day and was spitting up. We went back to the Dr and they put him on Nutramagen(super expensive, we tried this for a week, and it didnt help with pooping or spitting up, so we are now on...
