2 Yr Old Won't Drink Pedialyte

Hello, My 2 year old daughter has a slight cold, little fever, so far no vomiting.( Thank god!) But will not drink pedialyte....any flavor! Nor will she drink the Walgreens brand, the CVS brand....none of them. So my question is, is there anything else I can give her that won't cause diharrera or dehydration, like juice can? She will drink some water, but not as much as she will if it was juice. Thanks in advance.

My 6Yr. Old Has Major Neck Pain!!!

Last night my six year old son woke up screaming in pain. My husband and I ran in there and he was lying very still and complaining that he could not turn his head to the right. My eight year old has a history of back spasms so I thought that maybe my six year old was having a back spasm. The more I observed the more it became apparent he was having severe neck pain and the right side of his neck was locked in a spasm. I massaged it, gave him some ibuprofen, applied a heat pack and he said it was better but he was still in a...

5 Weeks Old Has Stuffy Nose and Wet Cough

Hello. My 5 week old baby has a stuffy nose and a wet cough for over a week now. I called the doctor and he said it was just because of the humidity in the house. He told me to keep the temperature in the house at 68, use Ocean Nose drops, put her in the bathroom with steam, use a humidifier, boid water, giver her water after she eats and prob her up. I have been doing all of this and nothing seems to help. I took her to the doctor 2 days ago just to make sure she wasn't sick and he said I am doing everything I should be doing, but it does...

Treating Diarrhea from Antibiotics

My 2yr old came down with a nasty cold with an ear infection. My pediatrician prescribed an antibiotic and 48 hours after starting, my son developed diarrhea. It got better after removing fruit and fruit juice from his diet, but it continues at least once a day. I've put him on a very bland diet with yogurt (which is what I put the medication in) and crackers, cheese puffs, and pedialyte. I've offered rice and soup, but he wants nothing to do with it. I give him the antibiotic with yogurt at breakfast and at dinner and then a yogurt...
