Peter Potty Urinal

Hi There, Has anyone used the Peter Potty Urinal? I have a 22 month-old son who is just starting to potty train. I've read the reviews for it and everyone has glowing comments. We just started and he isn't very excited about sitting on the potty. My concern is that if I purchase the Peter Potty to pee in, he won't learn how to sit on the potty to poop. If you've used this product please let me know your positive and negative experiences. Also, let me know how you encouraged your munchkin to sit down to poop. Thanks in advance!

Adopting a Boy - What to Register for an (18 Month Old) Baby Shower

My husband will have the son we've been praying for in two months. Some friends from our church are wanting to throw us a shower - can you give me an idea of the "must-have's" for an 18 month old? I don't have anything for our baby at this point except my collection of Little Golden books! I would so appreciate your thoughts - I don't want to register for things only to learn later that I really didn't need them. Please be specific. I appreciate your help so much!

Potty Training My 20Month Old

Yep, I know some are thinking...20 months old? But, my daughter has been copying me by sitting on her potty chair and let's us know when she goes in her diaper everytime. So, about 2 weeks ago she went pee-pee in her chair before bathtime. Everyone has told me to let her run around with no diaper and she'll want to use the potty even more.
