Earth Friendly Cleaning Products

I am not super "Green", but am trying to do my part. I have decided that as my current cleaning products run out I will be replacing them with more earth (and people) friendly products. My first purchase has turned out to be not so good. I bought Wave dishwasher detergent and was not pleased with the results. A large portion had a haze of detergent that needed to be rinsed off, while others had to be completely washed again. All that extra soap and water really defeats the purpose! How Do I Battle a Stubborn Spaghetti Stain!!

Hi moms. My stain treating arsenal is well stocked and I've tried everything to get a sauce stain off a shirt. I tried soaking in oxy clean and hot water overnight, a long soak with resolve, shout, and plain ole laundering. Nothing seems to completely rid the stain. I cannot bleach the shirt. And yes...I use tide. I'm typically successful with my stain removal attempts, but this stain is as stubborn as they come. Any advice?
