Hey Moms, I trust your advice more than any others. I've heard good things about the ERGO baby carrier. I'm considering getting one. Is it worth the price? Feedback About the Ergo Infant Carrier

I'm curious if anyone has used the Ergo Infant Carrier and what you thought of it. My son is almost 6 months old and, of course, loves to be carried all the time. But I've had a brace on my wrist for a month and it's hard to hold him too long without a carrier. He hates the sling and he's way too heavy in the bjorn now. It's killing my back. The Ergo looks like a great product but it's very expensive so I was hoping for some reviews from others who've used it. Any thoughts on infant carriers for 6 - 12 month olds?

Ergo for a Toddler?

Hi Moms! I am seeking that perfect baby carrier for traveling abroad. For those Moms that own an Ergo, do you still use it for toddlers? Would it be comfortable to have a 30+ pound baby in it for day long trips? I am deciding if I should get an Ergo or go more substantial and get a Deuter Kid Comfort III. Any suggestions?

Infant Car Seat Vs. Convertible Car Seat

I'm a first-time Mom to be (in April) and have been trying to figure out what type of car seat to buy. I've had several people tell me their children grew out of the infant seat at 6-8 months (either for weight or for height). I'd like some opinions of whether or not an infant seat is absolutely necessary or if I could make due with the convertible seat. For instance, is it really easy to carry the infant seat around-seems like it would be heavy with the baby in it. Also, any tips on favorite brands would be appreciated. Thanks!

Baby Carrier, Sling or Ergo?

I have a very active 2.5 year old son and am expecting baby #2 in mid-October. I'm thinking that I will need and make good use of a baby carrier, sling or Ergo carrier. Can anyone give me their feedback with which type(s) of gear they used: did you prefer a carrier vs. sling, for example? Any advice on what types to look for or what to avoid?

Should I Take Stroller or ERGO to Airport?

My husband and I are traveling with 6 year old, 5 year old and 16 month old (very petite, 20lbs!), non-stop 4 hour flight...do I need to take a stroller? I am thinking I don't want to mess with it, just put the youngest in the ERGO and off we go...am I not thinking of some secret benefit to having a stroller? She doesn't fuss at all in the ERGO, I see more tantrums when having to get into the stroller (and stay there!) Any thoughts would be appreciated!
