I Have a 5 1/2 Year Old Girl Who Is Wetting Her Bed, 1 or 2 Times a Night

Hi...my 5 1/2 year old is wetting her bed. I guess we let her stay in pull-ups a little too long for night time and now it is a real problem getting her to stop wetting the bed. This is what we have tried...no drinks about 45mins-1hr before bed, going to bathroom before bed, getting up around 1-2am to go to the bathroom. And if she has wet the bed before we can get her to the potty then we clean her up, change her and bedding and put her back to bed. And then in the morning, sometimes, she will still wake up with a wet bed with all of...

Transitioning Newborn to Sleeping in Bassinet??

Hello! My six week old has been happily sleeping in his car seat since we brought him home from the hospital. He also happily sleeps in his swing or if I'm holding him. He unfortunately, won't happily sleep in his bassinet (actually a pack and play with sleep positioners). If I lay him down in it, even when he's sleepy, he kicks out of his swaddle and starts fussing/crying. I can replace the pacifier over and over and he won't really go to sleep. If he does sleep, it's only for about 10 minutes and then he wakes up crying again. He's...

Bumpers or No Bumpers

Hell all, My 3 month old daughter has been sleeping in her bouncy seat in the crib up until now. I think she is ready to finally give it up and go straight into the crib. The other night, I tried and twice she woke up screaming because she had rotated herself about 90 degrees and was at the foot of the crib with her head hitting the slats. I am torn whether to put the bumpers on the crib. All of the SIDS research strongly advises against it which is why I never had them on but I am nervous about her hitting her head. I also feel...

Swaddling and Stimulation Questions

My son is 11 weeks old, but was born 18 days early. My husband and I have been using the soothing methods from Happiest Baby on the Block to get him to sleep. He's a super active baby, always swinging/punching/flailing/kicking, and swaddling him is the only way he can sleep w/o waking himself up. In a couple weeks I'd like to start letting him "cry it out" a little when putting him down so I can stop relying on the swing to get him to nap. My question is how will he be able to self-soothe w/o his little hands? Any tips on how I can "step...
