Cork Flooring or Other Suggestions

We just finished a room addition, and we're trying to decide on flooring. The adjoining room has a tan/brown flecked carpet, and the rest of our house has real hardwood floors (a darker oak color - the real deal from when the house was built in 1880). There's no way we can match the hardwood or the carpet (it's discontinued), so we're looking in to other options. My hubby wanted to recarpet the adjoining room and the new room to make it all the same, but I don't want to spend that much money, especially since the carpet is just 2 years old...

Sending My 3 Year Old to a 6 Hour Preschool.

I dont know if I should send my daughter to a 6 hour preshool. My son only went to A 1 hour 45 min. preschool til he went to kindergarden this year. he is doing ok but i this he needed more. My daughter is going to that preschool too. I think she needs more too. I just found out she can go to our new preschool program at our school. Wood Laminate or Real Wood Flooring

I want to change the floor in my kitchen, hallway, living room and T.V. room. I don't know if I should do real wood flooring or laminate wood flooring. I have the typical messy 3 year old and 6 year old. I want the easiest to maintain! Any ideas of which would be the best?
