Taking Charge of Your Fertility

I have recently started reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility and I'm curious about a few things. Is it difficult to get the hang of it? Is it as effective as the book claims? Any other thoughts, opinions from moms who have read the book and/or who practice fertility awareness would be helpful and appreciated. Thanks!
