Do You Preserve Your Child's Special Memories or Events Through Scrapbooking?

I'm just curious if you do anything creative to keepsake your child's changing development, special milestones, memories. etc. I am thinking of beginning a scrapbook for both my children but wanted to hear back of other neat ideas. My kids are 3 and 1 and so far, apart from lots of pictures (that I do actually put in albums), and a write-up of their development each month, I have not done anything else.
