Infant Drinks Formula Too Fast

My month and a half baby drinks his milk extremely too fast to the point that he starts to choke. I´ve been using the slow flow nipple and have tried different bottles with different nipples but he still does the same. He does not drink his formula peacefuly, it almost seems like he is wrestling with the bottle/nipple. We have him on alimentum by similac, since the dr. thought that his restlesness could be because of a lactose intolerance issue. Any advice?????

Symptoms of Acid Reflux in Infants??

I have a 4 month old son that is now horribly fussy when we try to give him a bottle of expressed breastmilk. He might drink 1 - 3 oz alright, but then starts screaming and screaming and won't stop and won't drink anymore. The doctor thinks it could be acid reflux, although his weight gain is good and we've already tried a round of Zantac and one of Prevacid. We're trying the Prevacid now for a longer period of time, but so far, it's not working. Does this sound like acid reflux? Does anyone have any suggestions?

Two Week Old Having Problems Burping! HELP?!

I have a two week old son who hardly ever burps after feeding! I wouldn't be too worried except it seems that instead of burping he gets really painful gas. Does ANYONE have any tips or advice? Could I just not be burping him long enough? I feel so bad for him!

How Do I Switch My Son to a Sippy Cup/

Hello. My son is 15 months old and WILL NOT take a sippy. I have bought just about every type I can and he will refuse all of them. He will take the Nuby one for a coupld sips than he ends up just banging it on things and spilling it everywhere. I know I need to just only offer the sippy, but then he won't drink and he gets really constipated. So, after trying the sippy a coule of times, I just end up giving in and letting him have the bottle. Does anybody have any advice for me on what worked for you? I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Chosing a Bottle for a Breastfed Baby

Hi moms! I'm expecting my second child and there will be a 5 1/2 years age difference between the two. With my son, I breastfed him and used bottles when I went back to work. I used Avent, but those bottles are trash now since they are not BPA free and the nipples were gross and had aged. I need some advice on what kind of bottles to buy this time around. I will be staying at home, so primarily breastfeeding is the plan. But, I don't want the baby to refuse the bottle later on (like my first child), so I plan to have my husband give her a...

Stage 3 Bottle to Replace First Years' Breastflow?

We've been using the First Years' Breastflow nipples and bottles and have just realized that we need to head into stage 3 (right?). When we've tried other bottles in the past, he's rejected all of them but this one. Is there anything else out there that's equivalent? He's 8.5 months old and has recently been weaned to formula. Thanks, mamas!
