Sons & Diapers

Hello all! I have an almost five month old baby boy (15.5 lbs at his last appt) and am just now switching to Size 3 diapers. He can still fit into Size 2's, however, the past two nights he's peed through his diaper/outfit so I'm assuming it's because he's sleeping/in bed for 10+ hours per night and the diapers are too small. What I want to know is have any of you with sons found certain diapers to work better than others? I have a daughter and she never leaked through. But I'm assuming it's because his pee-pee is pointed up or something...

New Mom to Be Needs Diaper Advice: Disposable vs Cloth

My husband and I are expecting our first child in March and we still have a lot of my school debt and my car loan to pay off, so budget will be very restrictive. I am thinking of trying the modern cloth diapering to save money, but I'd still have some disposables on hand for the diaper bag and traveling. Anyway, what are the experiences and thoughts here about cloth diapering that is available nowadays? I have no idea if it's even worth it. But we want to be wise and not spend unnessarily if we can avoid it. However, I'd want it be worth my...

Night Time Diapers

I put my son in night time diapers because he tends to completely soil them during the night(have tried both huggies and pampers both a size larger than his regular diaper size). The past few mornings when I go to wake him, he has completely leaked out of the diaper. Should I stop his liquid intake at a certain time before bedtime? He drinks lots of fluids during the day. Any other ideas.

Best off Brand Diapers

Hello world! We are on a very tight budget right now and I need to switch diapers. We use huggies right now, but would like everyones opinion on the best absorbent off brand diaper we can buy? Our daughter has an over sized bladder and urinates excessively. So we need the off brand to get as many uses out of it as possible. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance.
