Diaper Bag Recommendations

Good Morning Mama's! I'm wondering if you can provide any diaper bag recommendations. With our first, we purchased an Eddie Bauer duffle style diaper bag and while it was good and unisex so my husband would carry it, it was huge and awkward to carry! While I'd love a cutsie bag, for practical reasons I'm hoping to find one that's gender neutral so my husband will feel comfortable toting it around as well. We like the idea of a backpack style, but I'd like to ensure the bag can go over the stroller back. I'm open to any and all...

What Should I Do for Diaper Rash?

I think my 2 month old son has some diaper rash on the inside of his thighs and his lower stomach above his diaper. I have never seen or felt diaper rash so I'm not sure if that is what it is. The skin is bumpy and feels leathery. I have applied some A+D Ointment on it but I'm not seeing a difference. Do any other moms have any suggestions of anything else I should be applying? Does Desitin work better? Thanks, D.

Diapers for Sensitive Skin

My 17 month old son has developed a dry-skin rash on his bottom. The ped recommended hydrocortisone, which is clearing it up fine, but he also said that the rash may be caused by the chemicals in his diapers. We're using Pampers Cruisers...does anyone have a recommendation for something gentler? Thanks!

Can a Food Allergy Affect Urine?

My five year old has always been very sensitive. Often I eliminate bath soap and use dreft on her laundry. Then everything "clears up" and then I will give in to bubbles or revert back to regular laundry detergent. There is never any sory of raised rash, or welts. It is more of a redness. Anyway, it is beginning to be unbearable at times. This usually only happens at night. I am begining to wonder if it is not an "attention" or overtired thing. I usually fuss terrible when this happens. Anyway, I have made appointments for the doctor only to...

Wipes or No Wipes at Home?

Every time we (my hubby and me) use wipes he gets diaper rash. (yes, we even use the sensitive kind.) We were using the baby's changing table and using wipes all the time at home. But now i have switched to just using a damp washcloth or nothing at all if is just pee..... And i have set up a little towel on the counter in the bathroom. My hubby wants me to use his table again. Im afraid that it will just come back. Also my 3 month old gets little raw slices on the bottom of his pee pee... not sure why. I just put jelly on it and it seems to...
