Raw Spots After a Diaper Rash.

My 14 month old had a diaper rash that has cleared up, but she still has several red raw spots we can't get to go away. We're using Aquaphor, Butt Paste, and sun through the window when we can (she doesn't stay still long enough). We do cloth diapers and change her frequently to get the wet off, but they're not healing. Any recommendations?! Thanks so much!

Bad Diaper Rash

HI moms my dd is 9mo and has her very first diaper rash which started almost 2 weeks ago. it started off as just a red bottom and some irritation.....it got much worse very quickly even though i was trying everything i could think of to help it. i slathered a & d, plain vaseline/petrolium jelly, lansinoh lanolin ointment, and changed her at least every hour. i am losing the battle, within the past week it has gotten so bad that she screams when she pees or poohs and when i rinse her under the water in the sink. i know she is in so much...

Thanks for All Your Advice!!!

My 5.5 month old daughter has her first sickness--diarrhea since Friday. We took her to urgent care and they said it is probably rotavirus. I just wanted to know if anyone has any advice on how to get her to drink fluids--she hates anything other than her formula and she won't even drink that very much. I am currently giving her lactinex granules in her formula to help her stomach combat the virus (doctor told me to do this). Also, she has developed a pretty nasty diaper rash so any advice on curing and helping this would be appreciated...

Has Your Child's Doctor Ever....

Prescribed the wrong medicine? Is this a forgivable offense? We were in the office yesterday and my baby has thrush along with diaper yeast infection. The doctor told me to get lotrimin for his rash and that he would prescribe something for the thrush in his mouth. It was oral nystatin. Well, I picked up the prescription and luckily I read everything over and over and it was the nystatin ointment for skin. So he prescribed the right medicine but the wrong form...I just keep thinking what if I was someone who didn't double, triple check...
