Maternity Clothing Suggestions

We are looking to get pregnant in the next few months and I, of course, am trying to overprepare. I am already looking into maternity clothing so that it's not so expensive on that day that I wake up and can't fit into any of my prepregnancy clothes because the baby had an overnight growth spurt. With my first pregnancy I started the pregnancy in a size 18, so needless to say finding maternity clothing at a decent price that fit right was somewhat of a challenge. I have worked my butt off, literally and figuratively, and almost 4 years...

2 Month Old Halloween Costume

Hello moms, I am having a difficult time finding a costume to fit my newborn. Does anyone have any good suggestions. I have looked at babies r us and on-line, and am going to go to the halloween store. I really like the Tom Arma but the smallest are 6 months. Has anyone bought something big and had it altered? Any ideas would be great. Thanks!!

Pricing on Clothes at Garage Sales

We're thinking about having a garage sale and I'm wondering how to go about pricing some of my daughter's clothes. I'm thinking it's pretty typical for boys clothes (t-shirts, shorts, pants) to go for abou $1 each?), but what about girls dresses and matching outfits in sizes 6-18 months? These outfits are from stores like The children's place, Old Navy, Carters, and a couple from Gymboree, etc. They are all in near perfect condition and in my opinion have to be worth more than $1. Any thoughts? Thanks! :)

Looking for Halo Sleep Sack with Legs?

We loved our Halo Sleep Sack last winter, but now that my son is 1 I am looking for a sleep sack with legs and feet. Does anyone know if this exists? I have located something called Blankeaze that has legs, but no feet. Also, Halo makes something similar for toddlers, but again no feet. We have so many jammies without feet and socks don't stay on for more than an hour or so. Any suggestions?

Slippers for Toddlers?

hi all-- we are moving into a new house that has all refinished hardwood floors. i was wondering what type of slipper would be good for my 18-month-old daughter. the house is two floors, and the stairs are carpeted, but the rest of the rooms will be hardwood. i'm figuring that refinished floors won't give splinters, but i would like a good (not too expensive) non-skid indoor slipper/slip-on that she can wear (and keep her feet warm in winter). all suggestions are welcome-- thanks! follow-up question: besides the carter socks, what are...
